  • About a 3 minute walk from Chichi market. You walk down a steep street. Lots of colorful grave sites with some shamans performing ceremonies. Not many people and not crowded at all. If you came to see...  read more »
  • Re-fuel at visit Chichicastenango. Similar to the cemeteries you will find throughout the country, but this summarizes them all and improves them. Simply spectacular, its colorful, situation, etc. Has to go quietly and read some of the epitaphs of the tombs that brilliantly show the life of the late... If you have luck can find some shaman practicing their rites in the center of the cemetery.

  • I have never seen such a colorful cemetery in my life. I can not say that it is well kept but, we did see two Shaman's performing ceremonies.
