  • Although the function of a Museum, which allows the public to admire works of art and objects that otherwise would not be possible, is always very welcome in this was US perception that the entry price (more than $5 at the current exchange rate) is a little expensive for the exposed acquis limited. While the collection is interesting, because it shows different paintings and sculptures from the colonial era of the 16th, 17TH and 18th century, are rather few and poorly lit facilities and even somewhat neglected (there are some empty rooms that look dirty and it would be better to have closed, to avoid giving bad image). However, I regret not having known him, and it is perhaps the most interesting museums of the place.

XVI XVII mainly to receive and impart interesting classes in the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, art collections, both religious and non-religious. Delicious and instructive walk. Beautiful colonial building.
