  • The quality of work showcased at La Casa del Algodon is unlike anything you'll see in the markets. If you're interested in purchasing high quality textiles as a souvenir (and from a socially responsible entity), then this is the best place to shop. It's a small, intimate shop on the east-side of Antigua, a block south from Casa Santo Domingo. All their products are 100% natural cotton woven by hand in various Mayan communities around Guatemala. Each pattern tells a story and the wonderful shop hosts are happy to tell it to you! ~Theresa Atkins, Central America Vacation
