  • Make sure you do this while in Antigua. It's just a great, light hearted and worthwhile experience. The staff are brilliant and speak very good English (for anyone who is not fluent in Spanish).
  • First, I want to say that I love chocolate. When I heard of its existence, I wanted to pass immediately. There are plenty of cocoa-related products, offer tastings, and teach the process of chocolate making (in fact they do workshops to make your own chocolate, but by the time I did not take it). Everything is free (except for the workshop) and the people are very kind. At first I thought this brand was original and exclusive of Guatemala, however I later discovered that in Lima there is also and with the same services. The difference is that in Antigua are much nicer, so stay is very pleasant. In Lima, they were very scarce and all who were interested is that you bought. Bad for them.

  • Loved the chocolate workshop! Perfect for all ages and Raul gave a fascinating, hands-on chocolate experience. Historical and fun at the same time. You will leave with your own hand made chocolate bars after having made chocolate tea, hot chocolate and the Mayan's secret recipe. Don't miss this fun workshop..you can sign up at the museum. Great gifts to take home too. #chocomuseo
  • The name may be confusing for most, Choco Museo is not exactly the point of this shop. What they are most famous for is Chocolate Making Classes. Which includes a great and informative class about Chocolate and the related history to Guatemala. You need to book on-line or call ahead for classes.
  • Great chocolate workshop and soo many different kind of chocolate to browse from. The museum is informative and interesting.
  • A great experience, learned about chocolate origins and different u see. Loved the chocolate tea.
  • Fun and instructive class
