We visited this area because we saw that we could do a walk in train what would appeal to our 4 year old son. The owner is friendly, the visit by train is argued for more information on the area is pleasant. we went there in the morning worked the wheel for sugar cane. Then we did walk visit the domain and the colonial House that I found very nice and really well preserved with furniture photos etc... We also do you taste the rums and condiments Lady Besson very good meat fish or other! Children or people who don't take alcohol have a juice of fruits fresh. We enjoyed this visit as children and parents.

the little train ride is nice but the highlight of the visit is really the ballad in the garden. Voltaire the gardener made us discover carefully its plants and trees, and it will remain one of our great vacation memories. The tasting was nice but surprisingly do not taste the rums in the area which was not sold at the shop in August 2017 due to a financial dispute with the new owners of the distillery. Our visit was spoiled by our lunch at the restaurant of the area: the frozen prawns and tasteless (it's a shame when we are shown a breeding during the walk by train), which was supposed to be outbreaks in the old rum but we don't to didn't feel the taste. the children's menu was pretty dismal, with 3 nuggets on the plate and frozen French fries also. We wondered if the Cook was on vacation! In short, this was far the worst meal we had during our 3 weeks in guadeloupe.

Very nice introduction with the train during the visit of the domain. The rum tasting was great and everyone was expecting this since the beginning of the tour :) The jam tastes so good with a full flavour very aromatic. The visit overall was nice, didn't get bored.

The"train" tour was overpriced. It is much better to go walk around following the map and trail markers. Everyone was present and the tastings were good.

Rum tasting was great, tour by train was almost worthless.

The distillery is a very nice place. A small train ride you will be all on Board propose to allow you to know the area as well as the history of the site. A tasting of local products you will then propose. A walk in the gardens will allow you to take some time in a friendly atmosphere. I recommend!
