  • After 15-20 Minutes walking in a marked trail, arriving in a classic river bed but after 100 metres from market we fall face to face with a beautiful cascade of several meters excavated in the rock. It's a beautiful setting that offers us this place. I recommend.

  • Matouba, place where there are birds and flowers, the Matouba water jump is a site accessible by a trail of medium difficulty. Waterfall known for its form of White Lady, she inspired the poet Saint-John Persia in his praise collection. Well reported site. Starting in a banana plantation. Swimming possible but far from the waterfall upstream.

  • We found that day at the matouba water jump. The path is very muddy, slippery and very steep in some places. A landslide with falling trees partially blocking the way. Then the last descent is holding a string otherwise fall guaranteed. Once arrived at the river go back it by the right. And today saw the morning rains, the water level and current have failed to get to the foot of the waterfall. Too bad! It is marked "Easy route" but still be a good Walker. Avoid with kids.

  • Beautiful waterfall in a small ravine. The route is well signposted and runs through a banana plantation. From the starting point of the short hike through the rain forest is to the river. The last piece is somewhat steep.

  • Attention! Following a landslide the trail is more feasible since 11/03
