  • I know this Museum for a long time. Some Creole costumes and some furniture from the West Indies "year tan lontan" and on the 1st floor expo St John Persia.

  • The building is a beautiful colonial House in the metal structure which is quite worth the visit. Same house the House Zevalos to the mold, that - in full centre of Pointe à Pitre is open to the public for him offer an exhibition on traditional costume that is a must see. The temporary Museum offers also the exhibition and a few contemporary art work (look at the wall). See both for home and finesse of its details than for the costumes.

  • The building and its garden are certainly more interesting than the inside visit proposed for 2 euros 50! However, we find pretty dresses, witnesses of the colonial past. Period also furniture and details of the Interior of the then rich owners.

  • St. John's story is well told. But the building is dilapidated. Lack of maintenance that requires to close the terrace.
