(4.1/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Coast along Route de la Traversee, a well-maintained tar road that cuts across Basse-Terre and offers spectacular views of Carribean tropical forests. Although the road is not very long, it does offer a few places to stop along the way. Get out to explore the national park, hike at Maison de Foret, and enjoy a picnic and a dip by the river. Be aware that the road is often wet and should be driven with caution. • The crossing road is a road that crosses low land. It is very convenient as it avoids circumnavigate the island, either from the top or the bottom. As she travels through the rainforest, she also became a tourist attraction. The road is nice it is true and a feeling of freshness emerges (even if it's 35 degrees) because partly shaded by large trees, and vegetation. After this is a road, so the a say that it is a tourist attraction, I am not agree. There are pretty views but it is on many other roads in guadeloupe are more picturesque than those above.

  • Big vegetation of trees, tropical climate, impressive in times of heavy rain, cold and warm automatic fogging in the car.

  • We are going through the rainforest, while admiring the lush and exuberant vegetation. What a treat for the eyes
