Cascade aux Ecrevisses, Parc National

3.5
#1 of 7 in Nature in Basse-Terre Island
Waterfall Nature / Park
Swim in the cool waters underneath Cascade aux Ecrevisses. The waterfall itself is pleasant, but small and not particularly noteworthy. However, the pool below is rarely crowded, and swimming in the cool waters amid the sights and sounds of the rainforest can be a surreal experience. If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, you can jump off the nearby rock faces into the pool, but watch your step on the slippery rocks. After your swim, follow a nearby footpath to reach a quiet picnic area next to the river, where you can dry off and relax. • Waterfall and the tropical forest at its best, made available with few steps from the road.
  • Small hike to a nice waterfall.
  • A very pleasant stop on the way. The transition in two pages and view should take no more 20 minutes. The beauty of the jungle. Recommend.

  • Not bad, but a lot of people even in low season. Close to the surrounding River for a moment freshness in peace.
