Cascade aux Ecrevisses, Parc National
(3/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Swim in the cool waters underneath Cascade aux Ecrevisses. The waterfall itself is pleasant, but small and not particularly noteworthy. However, the pool below is rarely crowded, and swimming in the cool waters amid the sights and sounds of the rainforest can be a surreal experience. If you're looking for an adrenaline rush, you can jump off the nearby rock faces into the pool, but watch your step on the slippery rocks. After your swim, follow a nearby footpath to reach a quiet picnic area next to the river, where you can dry off and relax. • At the risk of breaking the general atmosphere... This waterfall is of no interest... Except for one who sees a waterfall for the first time in his life? It is true that it is nice, but of the cross Guadeloupe especially for this stunt, I say no... I think she owes its success has facilitated access, and proximity to a busy road, and as a result that boosted its attendance and popularity, because otherwise it is almost useless to to stop. There are increasingly many people, which is floundering and the tourists play together on the path that lead... Suffice to say that to succeed the "postcard" photo it is very difficult given the world that has had the same idea as you.

  • Although this site is very beautiful with its waterfall and pool, you find not totally your happiness because it lacks the main: THE CRAWFISH! You see dozens of people bathing in the blue water of the waterfall, surely what to scared animals... I heard they went out at night sometimes when calm returned. Too bad, I stayed on my hunger!

  • Easy access, this waterfall is the busiest, tourists arrive there by full bus! It is better to see Acomat. More difficult to access, Acomat is more beautiful, larger, and more pleasant to spend half a day.
