  • Visit free but uninspiring because no guide, only a few panels explanation minimum tasting and planted you there again without explanation can be found the same cheaper products duty free to the airport. The visit does not deserve the displacement

  • Visit in autonomy without guide so up yours! Some panels explain the history of the distillery, the cultivation of sugarcane and its role in Guadeloupe and then we go in without knowing if there is allowed in the distillery, the factory. We must dare to climb the stairs to understand that it is allowed. There are a few panels on the process. For us the worst was the shop. She is called "the hut a rum" and this is what one finds the least. There are clothes, all kinds of objects of local crafts and objects of poor quality but stamped "Guadeloupe or Dallas". To buy rum and including old rum... imagine its taste because it is proposed to the tasting as white rum (pure as it is often seen in ti punch or cocktail), a coco punch another mark that Dallas and one planter of that other mark also. We were 4 fans of good old rums. We were ready to buy them for our personal taste and also to offer to Christmas which is in 2 weeks. Regardless of the price of a bottle we would not given forward to buy one without have tasted it... so we left empty handed and that's too bad. Too bad for us and especially for the company that go largely into expenses by sacrificing a few bottles in the tasting. This would make the visit much more user-friendly and will push especially has the purchase... even the most novice!
