Seven Sisters Falls, Grand Etang National Park
Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
In the depths of Grand Etang National Park lies a hidden gem--Seven Sisters Falls, Grenada's central highland mecca for hikers and nature-lovers. Although relatively short (45 minutes), the hike to the falls is of medium difficulty, leading through the park, and passing plantations of nutmeg trees and bananas along the way. Admire the cascade tucked within lush tropical vegetation, then relax with a refreshing swim under them as the water crashes into the pool. The passage through rainforest involves some steep areas and muddy parts, so wear sturdy shoes. Pretty strenuous trek into the woods. Fun climbing the falls and jumping off them. Lots of things to see.
A beautiful hike and view. It can be very muddy so be sure to have a walking stick and proper shoes. The hike is about 45 minutes from the top to the falls. So worth it!
Beautiful hike, beautiful falls. It was a good workout but not too crazy, I would do it again for sure, very inspiring place...
