A crater lake within an extinct volcano, its 12 ha (29.6 ac) expanse is blanketed with rich vegetation and framed by the dramatic backdrop of the majestic Mount Qua Qua. Choose from a selection of hiking trails, ranging in difficulty and length, all of which immerse you amongst lush jungle, waterfalls, and wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for Mona monkeys, which inhabit the forest canopy. Consider taking a guided tour around the lake.   • If only it wasn't raining. If I return to Grenada I plan to go directly to Grand Etang National Park. They have hiking trails, amazing views and monkeys. Unfortunately the monkeys don't like rain eith...  more »
  • We went here with friends for a picnic, had a walk round the lake, pestered with mosquitoes unfortunately, great place to relax & enjoy but don't forget your mossie spray  more »
