Concord Falls, Grenada
Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
See the cascading waters of Concord Falls along the Concord River, where you can take a refreshing dip in clear, cool waters. There are a couple of falls along the river. To see them up close, you'll need to trek to the lowest of these--a 30 m (100 ft) cascade--and pay a small fee to view the falls, as they are on private land. Go off the beaten track and extend the life of your excursion by trekking to see the 19 m (65 ft) Fontainbleu Falls; take a guided tour to ensure that you find them and pack a lunch or snack, as these are a little further out of the way. Locals discourage traveling to the falls alone, as theft and robberies have been reported.
