Create an itinerary including Eqip Sermia Glacier
Watch enormous pieces of ice breaking off with a roar at Eqip Sermia Glacier. Hop on an ice-secured boat and sail along the coast with dolphins and whales. The boat will take you through the ice-clogged water as close as possible to the glacier's chilling face. Wait till the engine is off, then sit on the deck for a meal, keeping an eye open for curious seals peeping out of the water. The highlight of the journey for most people is the sight of the icebergs crashing into the ocean. • 2,5 hours beautiful boatride from Ilulissat. Boats wait for 2 hrs in front of the glacier. When we were there, not too much calving, was rather disappointing.

  • Amazing!
  • Were there every 10 years and surprised how far the glacier has retreated in the 10 years.
