  • Undoubtedly it is useless to expect a great Museum to visit, the place is small but what it contains is truly a treasure from the Venetian buildings in ancient Greek ones. Here are all ancient riches present in the churches that were destroyed by the earthquake, so all that was found was accommodated and brought here.

  • It is located at the western end of the square. Open until 3 pm except Mondays. Very nice exhibits of Byzantine and Post-byzantine years but. Also frescoes from churches destroyed in the great earthquake. People with cards culture without paying entrance.

  • We Went August. Season with high temperatures. The Museum does not have any control system of temperature and humidity. All aygotemperes exposed to the mercy of temperatures and humidity. Apotoichismenes iconography Also exposed. Wonderful exhibits without assigned their value. And the funnier: at the end of the tour when I asked to buy the book of the Museum, they told me they didn't have it there but in bookstores in town. ...
