  • in an island which in my opinion doesn't have ... this beautiful Monastery ... full of flowers ... a relaxed atmosphere I'd say by magic ... I was lucky enough to be none, and then I've enjoyed great ... go for it because it's worth and next is an excellent taverna ... long live Greece when it is "true"

  • The monastery is not great. very nice courtyard with columns (for some reason, ancient Greek temples reminded). Inside the church there are ancient icons. Still liked the Tower-gates, recalled. Not even clear whether next to the monastery is someone other than a family that keep Cafe, and yet they have a donkey, which you can Pat (the child was thrilled). The pilgrims, besides we didn't have, so you can enjoy complete tranquillity.

  • If our understanding of the monastery, it is something pompous, vast territory, with crowds of pilgrims and monks moving power between numerous monastery constructions ... zakinfskie monasteries is a couple of dilapidated medieval buildings on the tiny patch of land around polurazvalivšejsâ tiny churches. No we have not seen a single soul in this monastery, in no other on the island. Tightly closed doors and Windows. Total silence and no-to-go! Although, of course, you can see that someone lives there. Otherwise, who cares for flowers in pots placed in abundance throughout? who feeds a flock monasterial cats? While all Greek cats skinny and golenastye such that probably they all these colors and eat))) Cerkovka was closed, as everything in this monastery. For the nizen′koj fence is a small cemetery with a relatively new graves and not monks, and some local residents visible. We've trawled through the territory, enjoy the silence and the smell of flowers and have gone further.
