  • Impressive! Emerges from the rock and to impress how standing up there and how they can be built. Creepy when I got onto the wooden bridge, "felt" the void beneath my feet. Each door opening came a oyaoyyyy!!!!! Worth exploring! Useful information: If you want to visit it must get the key from a small cafe on the road just before the monastery. Worth exploring!

  • One of the most spectacular monasteries of the continent, built on vertical rock pit. The roof is the solid rock is carved with art to form a perfect Vault. The monastery was built around 1212 ad and is dedicated to the assumption of Mary. The name is due to the gardens grown near the monastery the monks the paved road reaches the base of the rock and from there a path carved in rock and a wooden bridge, leading to the monastery. During the Ottoman era, the wooden bridge was Mobile and the monks put the lever in order to protect it from raids. The little church of the monastery is filled with paintings of the 17th century in the vestibule of the Catholic is a large cave, 240 meters in length, which took the residents of neighbouring villages to protect the Ottoman Empire. Worth the visit to feel religious awe the first monks who lived in this monastery
