  • I really loved this chyrch. Seem like an old temple but it was constructed in 1970. The combination of byzantine elements and rythms from ancient Greece is extraordinary. In the interior of the temple...  more »

  • Wow!
  • Beautiful Church
  • The most strange church in Greece
  • Perhaps the best Church in Greece. Definitely unique. As this is the most unorthodox Orthodox Church. Although built relatively recently (around 1970) gets so beautifully the ancient, Byzantine and Christian element will result in charm or will make to the hate. We were in the first division. Just loved it. Because it manages to combine simplicity and grandeur. If you're in the area is definitely worth a visit. And you can see the archaeological site Mantinea directly opposite.

  • Ancient temples took their revenge by the Christian Church who build churches up to them with their own material after their first katedafize. It is one of the buildings that others consider them masterpieces and other anoysioyrgimata without anyone to choose something in between.
