  • After a very difficult approach, we go to the large cave. Quite rich in stalactites and stalagmites pleasantly cools down and also gives something for the spirit. Agia Sofia is also a place of worship and pilgrimage. It is the oldest icon on Crete so there is a place tuzinkowe. It's good that you can climb down the second disembarking a nice tavern with 'klasycznie "looking owner.

  • Just after the village of topolia george there is a beautifull cave very large with lots of stalagmites It free you can vit after a walk of 50 steep
  • Are you in the vicinity, so run like this, but reconsider, if you are coming from afar. There are a great many steps up (and down!) to the Grotto with the diminutivt little church, which is very quickly overlooked. The cave is also not the greatest, but offers however at interesting formations. There is a signposted tour of the grotto, though the signs could be more clear. If you, as half of us, is a little vovelysten, so take proper footwear on, when you venture into the Cove's dark recesses. In some places there is moist soil on a steep piece-not the second half partly favorite passage. A flashlight or cell-"lamp"-is quite handy to have on hand from time to time.
