Where to stay in Thessaloniki

If you come to Thessaloniki to splurge and pamper yourself, book a room at one of the city's five-star hotels, providing spacious rooms packed with amenities, as well as access to rooftop bars, ground-floor restaurants, and fitness facilities. Centrally located hotels also provide secure parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, and quick walking access to the city's top attractions. On the other hand, if all you need is a comfortable bed and a warm meal, consider a budget-friendly hostel or family-run inn in the residential areas outside the city's central area.

  • I wouldn't call it a museum, but rather a photography exhibition, but extremely powerful about the refugee crisis in Greece after WWII. Very powerful, timely and expressive. Highly recommended  more »

  • I was expecting old cameras but apart from one set with photography equipment there are only photographs. Nonetheless, the photographs are amazing.
  • As the name suggests I was expecting at least a moderate collection of photography equipments. Instead there are only photos on the walls. It is a gallery for sure. Not a museum. But even though I was disappointed with the lack of old photography equipments, the photo exhibit was indeed nice and worth a visit.
  • At the time of our visit there was an exhibition of images, depicting the refugee crisis. It was very moving, so I give 5 stars, but actually this is not a photography museum, but a gallery, so it is kind of misleading.
  • A nice museum but small and accommodates only a single exhibit. No permanent collection that I could see.
  • As most of the reviewers, I visited the museum for the exhibition concerning the refugees.
