  • In a narrow alley on the city is the small church of Saint David with the rare mosaic of the conch depicting the vision of Ezekiel. Putting a show with such a topic in the niche is unique in the world. You absolutely must see this mosaic showing Christ without beard and is a benchmark in the evolution of mosaics. The enchanting little courtyard of the temple has beautiful views of the city of Thessaloniki. From the temple that begins and the "archaeological and Byzantine walk" on the city. Open daily from 10.00-16.00 except Mondays. On Sundays it becomes Divine Liturgy and the temple is open from 06.30-12.30. Also at major religious feasts the visiting hours are modified because of the Divine Liturgy.

  • Church with archaeological interest. Has a small yard with nice views. I like to celebrate the Resurrection there!

  • Might be difficult to find but worth visiting. Mystical atmosphere, impressive murals, nice view. Picturesque alleys around.
  • 教堂人不多,但是参观是免费的,很安静进去后能让人能忘掉一切的烦恼
  • One of the most charming and mysterious churches Athens, preserved in the mosaic style refer to the representations made in raweńskich churches. Once this place was the Temple of the monastery Latomu, then the Church was converted into a mosque, it is now a small church lost in the maze of streets of the upper town. Find it is quite difficult, however, is what lies in itself is able to reward the effort made. The history of this object more broadly is described in the book of Thessaloniki during the early Byzantine (IV-VI century).

  • The most beautiful and picturesque Temple of Thessaloniki, with a lovely courtyard full of flowers and views across Thessaloniki. Inside the Church is the only early Christian mosaic depicting Christ as a teenager ageneio and rumored from there began their underground burrows that link all over the city. Interesting ...

  • Temple that is not easy to discover. Unpretentious and with a great mosaic chime. Manicured courtyard and great views over the city.
