Where to stay in Thessaloniki

If you come to Thessaloniki to splurge and pamper yourself, book a room at one of the city's five-star hotels, providing spacious rooms packed with amenities, as well as access to rooftop bars, ground-floor restaurants, and fitness facilities. Centrally located hotels also provide secure parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, and quick walking access to the city's top attractions. On the other hand, if all you need is a comfortable bed and a warm meal, consider a budget-friendly hostel or family-run inn in the residential areas outside the city's central area.

  • I have visited many museums about the Jewish people and this was the worst one. One sided portrayal of Jewish people in the city. Jews are not all benevolent, distinguished and good even though many are. At least greek and roman museums show conquests and brutal leaders alongside great accomplishments in art, engineering, etc.
  • Surprisingly enough you'll only be able to visit this museum depending on what country you come from! Yes you heard me! The so called "security man" who seems to be a chimney not even said "good morning" and of course went straight to be point "where are you from?" It was a surprise and I said it didn't matter because I was coming to visit the museum and so right there I was informed I would not be allowed in to the museum if I didn't say where I was from...pathetic! 5€ to be faced with non professionals workers who seem to be sucking blood from a living organism. It took me about 10min to see everything (I sincerely would've gathered much more info on the internet than at the "museum" itself). Not worth the visit.
  • Amazing experience, it's not long, but anyone who wish to understand a bit about the life of the Jewish people, can go there, it's a shame that out of the 50k only 1k still leave in the city
  • Nice museum which ties in the history of the city as a whole with the Jewish community that once thrived there.
  • Well decorated but very sad
