  • House of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the modern Turkey. Closed on mondays.
  • Unfortunately, after the reconstarction some of the historical belongings to Ataturk have been changed. Even though, it's worth to visit that place at least once.
  • Small and nice museum in the house where Kemal Ataturk was born
  • They had really great wax statues of Atatürk and his mom. The interactive Tv's were good. Stuff on the display was also cool. PLUS IT'S FREE!
  • It was a mixture of pride and sadness while visiting our dear Atatürk's house where he was born in. Great to see it has been restored (modernized) compared to what I saw 15 years ago. I wasn't expecting fancy interiors as it wasn't that era and keeping in mind the decent nature of this kind family. A great spot to re-live Atatürk's history, with just the right amount of details, wax statues of Atatürk and his beloved mother and some personal belongings of him. Will visit each and everytime I visit Thessaloniki. 15yil onceki haliyle karsilastirdigimda ilgili devlet birimine tesekkur etmek isterim, cok guzel ve tam kararinda restore edilmis / yenilenmis. Şatafata donusturulmemesine sevindim, Atatürk'ümüzün ve degerli validesinin heykellerine, sahsi esyalarina bayildim. Kesinlikle Selanik'e yolu dusen her Türk vatandasinin ugramasi gerektigini dusunuyorum :)
