  • You, mus easy out. all what you need to a bit to be more prudent for the culture that grew up in the country and in the West now prevails. Just great, you can see what, and still great you can imagine what. The location is great to drink coffee, and worrying, or just to rest. One of the best places in the city...

  • Excellent collection - especially the "Gold of Macedonia" part was absolutely stunning... Liked the extensive descriptions, which helped to get a better impression of Macedonia's past...
  • The museum staff watch you like hawks. Massively over staffed. They are all really bored and love to pounce on you the moment you step out of line. Even if you so much as walk in the wrong direction. They never stop gawking at you like idiots.
  • Great overview of the city's and region's history. Very didactic exhibition. There is a combined ticket together with the Byzantine museum next door and the white tower that could be interesting of you are really into history and art. When it is really hot outside, the museum's air conditioning makes it a great option to cool down.
  • Great museum. Reasonable admission for 8 €. If you plan to stay in Thessaloniki for a few days buy the 15€ one, so you can visit tje archaeological the Byzantine and the White tower. After the visit there is also a coffee place outside the museum.
  • I had visited this in the '80s. Well, it should still be the most important museum of the city. A must-visit place for tourists.
