  • it the 10 years I have been visiting this island the beach has been going smaller but this year there was half the depth and the end we were had clearly got shorter by 50 + meters!
  • From Lassi, where I was staying, it was while chug on my scooter to Skala, more than 40 km, but along the way it does create some distractions, such as St George's Castle (where I already had been a day earlier and already wrote about) and the Trapezaki Beach, a very nice little double beach. Actually, I was to Skala raised to something Roman and ancient Greek historical history interest me, just to see. Drove back and forth a few times along the eindelooooooze Beach, asked and once asked. In the end, a taxi driver who knew it. Back again, few kilometres north, village for a long time, until somewhere next to a church a few pickings of columns and vloertjes layers. Deception, sigh, you don't really for to Skala. Back again, South towards village of Skala, left of me the beach. Then it was, at the time I saw a set on a towel stuck with in a radius of a few hundred meters no one around them, that I thought, "what a lol here". Endless Beach and nothing to do. An road (Poros-Skala) between buildings and beach, hardly any vegetation. Something closer to Skala come the better. There are some food and beverage outlets, toilets and what Beach sun beds. The sea water is bright, with beautiful fish, the sand is a little Pebble-like, the beach really endless boring. I'm spoiled, I know, see my reviews on o. (a) Koh Chang and Koh Phi Phi in Thailand, that are only palm fringed beaches. I soon thereafter my mind still had to relativize (is always good to do that) was because I was talking with a guy from Chicago and Lake Michigan than him said at a beautiful beach. He said, "man, this is soooo much nicer, I've never seen such beautiful beach". Okay, I thought, with my mouth full of teeth laggard. Reflecting on everything and I stepped into perspective with a richer after half an hour back on my scooter to again in the afternoon in Lassi.

  • A really great and big beach. Sandy, clean, full of bars and cafes to drink and eat. It also has some sunbeds and umbrellas.
  • Really nice. Lots of beach bars offering all the luxuries and services you may need. Lot of space as well foe those who want to lay down individually with their own umbrellas. Recommended.
  • Lovely beach and seaside type town. One of my favourite places on the island
  • Beautiful beach, crystal clear water, but has a combination of sand and pebbles, so water shoes would be good. Several nice cafés
  • Very large clean beach with clean sea and many places to be under restavrants umbrellas and beds, or individual found yourselves place.
