#8 of 17 in Beaches in Santorini
Santorini's hidden gem, the secluded Mesa Pigadia Beach is surrounded by white cliffs, with pebbled sand and large rocks strewn along the shore. As you walk along the rocky coastline, you can see colorful houses built into the hills, some of which are used for storing fishermen's boats during the winter. One of the caves in the rocks leads to another small beach on the other side of the hills. Enjoy the shimmering blue water and the sound of crashing waves, or sample the delicious fresh foods in the family-run tavern. • The way the sand is black is astonishing and the views out of the sea was beautiful. I made the mistake visiting when it weren’t high season though. When I got there contractors were just renovating a...  more »
  • I find this property to be the most beautiful in Santorini. Although not the most beautiful beach visited, this establishment is at the top as to comfort. It offers a relaxation area, with massages and other beauty treatments. The beds are large and very comfortable. The sea is crystal clear. Like all the beaches of Santorini you need to use the rock shoes. The bar-Restaurant of the establishment offers both a service at the tables and the service at the beach (which we preferred). There are showers, both hot and cold, the toilets and the changing rooms. You want to not go away anymore.

  • We ended up getting stranded here with rental car troubles. The waitress was incredibly helpful and let us borrow her personal phone to call the rental company. We ended up eating there because it was going to take awhile. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious! The customer service was excellent! They turned a bummer situation into a more enjoyable experience.
  • At first it is a nice restaurant in an equally beautiful location, the food is also very good, the stuff is very friendly, it is a "must have" during you stay on the island !
  • Amazing!Delicious!Wow!
