  • Breathtakingly beautiful monastery in the mountains of Rhodes near the village of Laèrma. It must visit to breathe this wonderful air, go into a small, but very beautiful church of St. Michael the Archangel, to see the famous icon of the Archangel Michael and frescos, stroll around the monastery courtyard, make photo under vine, admire the warm roof dwelling monks walk into a shop and buy an icon. This is the place I want to remember, really there are cosy, quiet and somehow conciliative.

  • The famous monastery of Moni Tari, located on the road Asklipiio-Laerma, in 4 km from the village of Laèrma, was one of the key priorities in our important attractions in Rhodes. I won't retell once again the local legend about the Byzantine Princess and her perstne, as well as the history of the monastery is dated to the 9th-11th centuries, except to say that the monastery appeared surprisingly beautiful and cozy. As the main attraction of the monastery is the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, built in the 9th-11th centuries on the site of the Temple of Apollo, as well as the main attraction of the Church, or rather, shrine-the icon of Archangel Michael, as well as the famous frescoes of the Church, some of which dated to the 12th century. The general impression from visiting the monastery: a delight!

  • ... far from Rhodes assault tourism, construction, it is a place where silence is intertwined with the music of nature. Interesting ancient frescoes, in the Church around the convent micro-gardens, numerous fruit trees and olive trees.
