  • After visiting the castle of Monolithos decided to go cool off and take a break on the beach, Fournoi (Fourni Cape). Parked near the castle there is a pointer to the beach, the road goes down to the sea, will not get lost. On the way to the beach of Fourni met other small beaches, with the names. Fourni Beach will learn at once-beach equipped with: only here is there a café, lounge chairs, umbrellas, changing cabins, shower with fresh water. On the right side of the beach to the Sea stands the stone flat plate-Cape of Fourni. Pebble Beach. A few metres from the sea stretched strip of dried seaweed (Aegean Sea, unlike Mediterranean, with seaweed), but they did not disturb our family settled on pure stretch of shingle and sunbathe. The sea is clean (algae was not currently), wave was strong. Far nobody zaplyval, all campers floundering near the shore. There were few people on the beach-those who could be reached by car. Parking is free of charge. If you prefer, you can climb to the plateau of the Cape and walk around, look in the caves

  • We were on this beach. We have read that there are nice places for diving. We haven't seen too much fish. They are large, but very shy. When you arrive at the beach, the path is quite simple, go left over the bulge with a small dome and on the opposite side than the beach is a small nice enough little Beach, where you'll probably be alone. There are no waves. There are caves and stairs in the sand, that lead down. Local toppings used on the barbecue, and private events. We took before we figure out how to get it down, but there are stairs in the wall and climbing holds. Even so, this route requires a little more physical. Totally different Beach than usual. But rather for adventurers. Choose the morning. The Sun in the afternoon, quickly disappearing.

  • There are small caves hidden between the rocks, the view is stunning and the site is completely isolated! A great spot for sunset. The beach itself is not the most suitible for swimming though. Lost o...  more »
