  • One of the most beautiful Church on the Island. Try to go there during a religious service to experience the real Orthodox Mass.  more »
  • It is a small church is off the tourist routes of the island of Rhodes is worth a visit we want to. Greece-Orthodox? For in the church interior surrounded by mural and icon painting. Please some alms is free because it is unmanned.

  • During the Ottoman rule, skabo das the Agarinoi to renovate the castle of Rhodes found the foundations of the old Church with many broken images among which stood out and one old picture where it looked new and freskobammeni and around under her, were painted all martyrdoms of the subject depicted St., who looked very young in age, dressed military and holding in his right hand a cross upon which rested lit candle. The ancient Church of St. Fanourios that was outside the Castle does not exist today. Only the foundations and remains sacred baptistery beneath apartment buildings in rue Himaras. The current Temple is inside the Castle and a little beyond the gate of m. Athanasios resembles catacomb and is very solemn (Lenten).
