  • Murat Reis mosque, named after the famous Berber pirate and Admiral of the fleet of the Ottoman Empire, looks awesome. That's just consider her only outside. A lot of times passed, a couple of times trying to enter into the territory of (Muslim cemetery next to the mosque, where the tomb of Murat Reis), but failed to do so. The gates were shut all the time. Probably, we just had no luck ...

  • The Murad Moshe rice is the only Ottoman House of God outside of the old city. It stands on the old Turkish cemetery, the British novelist follows Durell has described in his book "Bright orange". The House where follows Durell lived for 2 years from 1945, remained in the corner of the cemetery. Tombstones with Arabic inscriptions under tall palm trees and eucalyptus trees. Some are topped with a turban and identify the dead as dignitaries of the Ottoman Empire. In the sarcophagi in the hexagonal Rotunda (Türben) were highly placed personalities. The largest is buried rice 1609 on Rhodes dead Murad, which donated the mosque named after him at the end of the 16th century. He was Admiral of the Ottoman fleet, but then in disgrace, and exiled to Rhodes. The Turkish cemetery is the main attraction for free and freely accessible and actually. Türbe and mosque are open-minded like the visitors by the Muslim administrators of the key, who lives in the House next to the mosque and the cemetery keeps clean.

  • Despite the fact that neither the mosque of Murat Reis, nor at the cemetery, where lie the famous Admiral, failed to get off the streets you can still see both attractions, in order to have an idea about them.

  • Simple but beautiful mosque and through the adjacent ancient cemetery (which can be visited) with much flair.
