  • Built in the 15TH century by the society of Knights to protect the city from the attacks of the Turks. To his side three mills which must be of the same era milling wheat that brought the boats also in close column with Fawn and another, separated by sea, with another specimen (one male and another female) that indicate the place where was each extremity of the famous colossus of Rhodes (who also has a good story).

  • This fort stands at the entrance to the port, with in its middle, the lighthouse that signals its presence and the entrance to the port to boats. Dating back to the 15 th century, it deserves a visit. You can also enjoy admiring the three mills and cruise ships. There is a bit of a walk, but in October it is nice, not too hot. Unfortunately it was not possible to visit the fort.

  • The approach to the fort between boats and passing near the windmills wind offers beautiful views to photograph. Strong Ke houses voulets of old stone and gives the illusion of getting into past centuries. Once the portal depassem the horizon is opened on the city and on the high sea. Unforgettable!
