  • The most amazing little beach. One of my faves in all the places we have been. It has everything, waves jumping cliffs, snorkelling spots and a great cheap bar.  more »
  • I discovered this beach during my first stay in rethymno 6 years ago by a friendly lady that owned the place we were renting. It’s a hidden gem, a slice of heaven, a little dream enclave of rock and....  more »

  • We stumbled upon this beach and were pleasantly surprised. The sun bed/chairs were super smelly (should not have sat on them) but the water is crystal clear and immediately deep enough to swim. The waves were very calm despite it being a windy day and the rock formations are beautiful.
  • Spilies Beach is very nice. It has a nice view. It's easy to relax here. The water is very clean and crystal clear. It has a few rocks but they are not much of a problem because the water gets deep very fast. That makes it very nice to swim, but it would be a bit hard to come here with little children. The ground has in the beginning rocks, which can be very hot at day, but then you can find sand at the shoreline. There are some big rock formations and the right rock has a cave underneath it, that is half submerged under water. It can be a bit dangerous to swim there, if there are waves. But you can climb smaller rocks that are also in the right side, they lead to a little nice open cave in there. You can also find many fossils in these rocks! They are very old and cool! The signal here is very weak though. You might have a hard time connecting to the internet if you want to...
  • Also in the time of Covid fully functional with a bar and sunbeds. What a nice place but you'll have to have a car to get there.
  • Beautiful beach. Close to the main road. Not crowded at all.
  • Best beach we discovered so far on the north coast. It’s pebbles instead of sand, which makes the water very clear. It’s a small cove, so gets crowded fast.
