  • In the lobby of the hotel AQUILA RITHIMNA BEACH deployed Multimedia Exposition telling about how volunteers contribute to saving sea turtles. On the beach of Adelianos Kambos opposite the hotel there is always fenced "pockets", leading from turtle clutches to the sea. We are on a fairly rare event, as we talked about other tourists-excavation in turtle nests. When large crowds (in lobby hung ad) volunteers (mostly Germans) broke the sand in places layings extracted from there kožistuû shell and nevylupivšiesâ, corrupted for whatever reason — illness, infection-turtle eggs, considered how many turtles vylupilos′ and gone into the sea, and how many died from what. Living turtles we saw not only the dead, although neighbors said that in past years when excavation bugs, Robin and volunteers, pushing them, accompanied in the sea. The spectacle of unusual, but quite prolonged, smell and appearance of spoiled eggs no pleasure. Volunteers accompany their actions explanations in English.
