  • For those who like the religious tourism and spirituality Evia has 48 kilometers away from chalkis and, more specifically, in the village of New Prokopi founded by refugees from Asia minor there is the Church of St. John the Russian where there is a shrine with the relics. Many visitors come to worship. The place is quiet and if you want to avoid the crowds well is to go everyday. Celebrated on May 27 where crowds suffuses the place.
