  • I would not call it a museum , but ruins of Nicopolis ancient city. You must be ready for a long walk in hot burning sun , if you want to go it through ...
  • Greece has difficulties to maintain all the wonderful places. This place is concerned by the situation, low maintenance of the ruins. But anyway, a place to visit.
  • We went past two summers of Preveza in Lefkada and finally decided to choose a day to go in 0-13 years old. The huge excavations of the area, but unfortunately, not dug itself a lot. Maps-guidebooks are denoted any place, but locality we found not all. Generally around all these attractions are quite matter-of-fact landscape-agricultural fields, apiaries, Bramble. So the most interesting thing was taken away in a museum-there you want to go for sure.

  • So many historical sites to see. Choose this one. Well preserved.
  • Is the best Museum of Epirus with difference to visit anyway. Exhibits the history of ancient Nikopolis, founded by Augustus after his victory at the battle of Actium by the Norwegian-Manx fleet of Mark Antony and Cleopatra.

  • Wonderful Museum. Historical background of the establishment of Nicopolis until its decline and depopulation. A journey from the battle of Actium and the Monument of victory of Augustus, the Roman city and its infrastructures and its transition to early Christian City.
