  • We generally stay in Elounda but come to Plaka beach most days. Don’t mind the pebbles, at least you are not wiping sand from your feet on the way home and there are wooden pathways that take you...

  • Lovely quiet village , very quiet compared to Elounda a few kilometres away. The mountain backdrop is spectacular , there are vultures on the skyline above the hills. Looking out to see is the island....  more

  • Clean pebble beach with clear water 80cm depth very close to shoreline. Priceless views of spingalonga and set against mountainous background (specifically the last beach on the far side of town). Sunbeds and parasols for hire at 10 euros a set. Swim shoes recommended as is entirely a stony beach and difficult to go in water without them
  • Very nice little beach, with an excellent restaurant, crystal clear water and nice sand suitable for kids of all ages. Not too crowded which makes it an ideal place to escape from your hotel beach.
  • Very cool and clear water. There are big white & light gray pebbles at the beach. You can rent a set of sunbeds or you may use your portable chair. Wonderful views to Spinalonga, atm, tavernas, mini market, free car parking area. The sea deeps quickly.
  • Very calmed and not too crowdy beach, but a little bit windy the day we went. Made of stones but there are wood ways to go inside the see in front of the umbrellas, that made it easy.
  • Beach is awesome and water is so inviting even with the rocky beach. Rocks are a minus that should be taken in to account but otherwise beach is super duper
