  • This was a stop on our VoiceMap walking tour. Very interesting and worth while the stop. When you visit start from top floor and make your way down!

  • 🧳 The archaeological museum of Piraeus is a must visit when you finally arrived at the port of Piraeus. 🏛️The bronze statues of Athena, Artemis and Appolo are spectacular. Are also more museum exhibits to enjoy like Mycenaean civilization sculptures which are from the 570BC or great statues from roman occupation, from 200BC.
  • Amazing gem - get here by bus, train or boat but go- no disappointment. Finds from the bay in 1930’s and 1950’s really open your eyes to the greatness of Greek art
  • This location has some excellent pieces and was fairly inexpensive. If you've already been to the national archaeological museum then this will be more of the same. But I love this stuff so it was worthwhile for me.
  • I'd been advised to visit the museum for many years now but I always put it off. What a shame! Small yet incredibly interesting collection of exhibits you often won't easily find elsewhere. I was honestly in awe with some of the things I got to see there, truly couldn't keep my eyes off of them. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Athens.
  • A quiet and peaceful place within walking distance from the port for cultural enrichment for cruise passengers that don't want to venture to Athens.
