  • Location terrific-quiet, wilderness, vistas, good preserved ruins (primarily foundations, there are mosaics, Hall). The road is good-travel by car is easy. Attractions Amfipolisa are three fairly far apart placed dots: sculpture of a lion, the Museum and the city itself. Takes 3 hours at all. Nothing fancy don't wait-place captivates its rather nezataskannost'ju than content. And finally-do not agree with the previous comment, the guide is not needed. In vysokijsezon (from May to September) on the territory of the archaeological reserve is constantly on duty warden (placed students at universities or summer archeological), which on a beautiful English tells you absolutely everything you want to know about this place. Though completely free of charge. Visit the reserve free too.
