Though famed for its historical connection to Kaiser Wilhelm II, it's the breathtaking views that draw visitors to Kaiser's Throne. This rocky vantage point features an observation platform where permanent binoculars let you take in the sights. Deep blue skies meet the lush valley below, dotted by colorful country houses. In the distance, the horizon extends to Italy and Albania. A scenic cobblestone walk past yellow country houses will bring to you to the top of the hill. Be aware, however, that the walk up is quite steep, so search out a shuttle bus if that poses a problem. Note the crowds tend to come at sunrise or sunset. Strategiské místo na mysu Pelekas, z kterého přehlédl císař hlavní město Kerkyru, obě části ostrova i palác císařovny Achilleon. Doporučuji vyjet až nahoru k restauraci a pokochat se výhledem. more »The strategic location on the Cape, which overlooked the Pelekas Emperor capital Kerkyru, both part of the island and the Empress's Palace Achilleon. I recommend to go all the way up to the restaurant and enjoy the view.

The panorama is great. You can see the whole island up to the ocean. Not a lot of indicators to help you find it more »

Was not so busy there, yet waited quite long for service. When we ordered a chicken salad, took quite some time for them to figure out there was no chicken anymore, so we had to get something else. The tomato mozzarella salad was not really a salad (just the tomato and mozzarella, with bread on the side), but tasty nonetheless. When asking the bill for the salad and two drinks, it was €20! Then suddenly it was €12, and after 5% discount (we had a card) it was €11,50. Numbers isn't their thing. The view of the sea there is great though. It can be quite windy, which is nice when it's warm. The Kaisers Throne lookout definitely is worth going to.

Amazing serendipity! Views from the "throne" were spectacular! No one else was there, hotel and patio restaurant 100 feet away on opposite side was like a dream! Fresh fish for the day with potatoes was €10, great milk shakes, very kind gracious staff. I want to come back and stay in the hotel for a week!

Beautiful view. If you go by car, sometimes the road is very narrow

Easy to reach and the best place to watch the sunset.
