Kaiser's Throne, Pelekas
(4.6/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Though famed for its historical connection to Kaiser Wilhelm II, it's the breathtaking views that draw visitors to Kaiser's Throne. This rocky vantage point features an observation platform where permanent binoculars let you take in the sights. Deep blue skies meet the lush valley below, dotted by colorful country houses. In the distance, the horizon extends to Italy and Albania. A scenic cobblestone walk past yellow country houses will bring to you to the top of the hill. Be aware, however, that the walk up is quite steep, so search out a shuttle bus if that poses a problem. Note the crowds tend to come at sunrise or sunset. • So,so glad we walked up to Kaiser's Throne. Beautiful and breathtaking views all round of Corfu, Albania and Greece across sea. Stunning views and so, so peaceful. Timed perfectly for start of sunset,...  more »
  • The best view at the island. I really recommend to go there. You can see the other half of the island there.
  • The highest point of the island of Corfu is Mount Pantokrator, but not everyone dare climb. On the throne of Kaiser also is not the easiest way, but a tortuous path through the narrow streets.

  • A view of the entire Corfy island. Really amazing. Quite a heafty climb if using the green bus system.
  • Located just a few hundred metres from Pelecas village, absolutly stunning coast to coast views from the top. Only 30 mins bus ride from Cofu town and well worth it
  • Unrivalled view of Corfu Old Town and the surroundings. The sunset cafe looks decent but wasn't the time for sunset yet. An ideal plan would have been to visit just before sunset.
  • Amazing views around Corfu, including mainland Greece and Albania both visible. Easily accessible by car, only a short walk from the car park at the top.
  • Great view, worth checking out
