Where to stay in Olympia

Despite its small size, Olympia features a lively main street lined by hotels offering comfortable rooms and quick access to one of Greece's most popular archaeological sites. If you don't mind driving to Olympia's famous ruins, explore the area's seaside hotels, where spacious rooms come with access to fine restaurants, fitness facilities, spa treatments, private beaches, and outdoor swimming pools. You can also visit the ancient sites from a budget-friendly hotel in Pyrgos, a lively town just northwest of Olympia.

  • Wonderful place and wonderful family. very relaxing and informative time. Thank you.
  • Locally owned small winery with excellent small batch wines and olive oil. They tout all natural, family owned wines. The wines were really nice and moderately priced. We ended up buying two bottles a merlot variety and dry white. Our guide was the owners daughter. She was informative and pleasant. If your in the area stop by before this place becomes international.
  • We went there without an invitation and they gave us directly a private tour around the winery and a wine tasting. The girl that showed us around was very friendly. We loved it. Thanks again for the warm welcome ! (just be aware that you have to pay a small amount of money, but it's definitely worth it !)
  • Friendly people, nice place and good wine! Make sure you stop by after your visit to Olympia. Just outside the town before you reach the highway. I'm really glad I made this small 'detour'.
  • Great winery, divine wines, excellent hospitality!
