  • As in almost all archaeological sites in Greece, the visit to the Museum is a good addition to the site. We can admire beautiful reconstructions of the pediments of the temple of Zeus and of course, the famous Hermes of Praxiteles.

  • On this site, we found the ruins, related to the Olympic Games of antiquity. It is important a guide, that told the story on the season.

  • Ancient Olympia is a magical place. The museum is spacious with high ceilings and a nice courtyard. My only objection is that the comments on the exhibits focus more on the excavation details rather than the history of the exhibit.
  • A vast and very interesting museum with many remains recovered from the archeological site of Olympia which is just next to the museum. You need to plan a whole day to really enjoy the visit here and the site itself.
  • Amazing! A must see in your stay in peleponnes. Very friendly employees; they even gave me a free bottle of water because the vending machine was empty. Entry is free for students. Hole museum is air conditioned.
  • The museum is very well done ! There are numerous artefacts and they are displayed in a beautiful interior. Entrance free for students of the e.u. or children up to 18 !
  • One of the places to visit if you're interested in getting around greek history
