  • The ruins are not really worth visiting for themselves. However, the views from the ruins make it worth the walk. You get a nice view of the fishing village down by the ocean as well as a nice view of...  more »
  • There's ruins and morning much apart from it, this spot is primarily for watching sunset and attracts lots of people every single day. Came early to secure good seat.
  • Like other reviewers say, there's not much there. But it's worth going to because it's free and only take a few minutes of your time, and it's one of the few vantage points from which to look back at ...  more »

  • Not only a spectacular site as a ruin of an old Byzantine castle, but the views of the caldera and the town of Ia really will make your day! On top of that, the sign near the entrace: "Danger of landslides. Do not enter!" and all the tourists (and me!) bluntly ignoring this and challenging the really very steep and deep cliffs for some beautiful pictures are a nice bonus and make this visit a special attraction!
  • Excellent view for sunset. Be sure to get there early to secure a place!
  • Very crowded place for sunset, but did have a great view. Be careful if you go over the end wall for a seat, as it has no barriers from the 50ft drop over the edge. Bring a torch for after sunset if you hang around until it is dark, as there no lights on the steps back to the town.
  • One of the best places to see the sunset. You also hear the violin that it is played by local musicians. It is very romantic
  • Not a spectacular place but the views from here are amazing
