  • Beautiful city view accompanied by breath-taking contrasts of architecture, this place is lovely in the daytime as it is in the evening.
  • This area is full of people who will watch the sunset, is the typical of the island, go early then you cannot nor walk or see or take pictures.

  • Beautiful castle ruins, perfectly restored, south of the town Oia, from where you have a splendid view over the fantastic, small city at sunset.

  • Not only a spectacular site as a ruin of an old Byzantine castle, but the views of the caldera and the town of Ia really will make your day! On top of that, the sign near the entrace: "Danger of landslides. Do not enter!" and all the tourists (and me!) bluntly ignoring this and challenging the really very steep and deep cliffs for some beautiful pictures are a nice bonus and make this visit a special attraction!
  • Excellent view for sunset. Be sure to get there early to secure a place!
  • Very crowded place for sunset, but did have a great view. Be careful if you go over the end wall for a seat, as it has no barriers from the 50ft drop over the edge. Bring a torch for after sunset if you hang around until it is dark, as there no lights on the steps back to the town.
  • One of the best places to see the sunset. You also hear the violin that it is played by local musicians. It is very romantic
  • Not a spectacular place but the views from here are amazing
