  • We lucked out finding this as we were expecting an erect 10metre man... oops - :) We needed a break so getting out and walking up the stairs was fine but ....
  • See these Kouros, these marble statues that incident (crack, break) have been abandoned on site during construction or their transfer is really very interesting. > More makes a nice walk in a beautiful setting for access.

  • The Kouroi at Flerio can be reached pretty easily if you have your own transport - might be a bit more difficult otherwise as the site lies pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Turn south directly of...  more »

  • This Kouros is something really breathtaking! There are only a few signs to get there, but if you're curious look for them on the road near Apollonas. This colossal unfinished statue represents the Greek god Dyonisium. If you're in Apollonas take some time to visit it, it's worth it!
  • Impressive 10 metre long statue carved from adjacent quarry and then abandoned. Very short walk from the main road.
  • Quick stop but the actual statue is impressive.
  • Well worth stopping if you are passing by , but I wouldn't make it an event in itself
  • If you can go there by hiking the route is awesome😉
