Old Town, Naxos Town
(4.9/5 based on 1,200+ reviews on the web)
Time stands still in Old Town of Naxos. The cobbled walkways and narrow streets lead to restaurants where home-cooked specialities are served in blue-and-white buildings constructed in the early 20th century. Many of these eateries are adorned with antique furniture and artifacts from the townspeople dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Arches and tunnels break through the buildings, and the beach is not far away. A visit to Old Town represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Naxos vacation builder to plot your vacation.

  • Blue sea and its white houses amid narrow streets of hillside, windmills ... as we go up the Hill, you get a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea and the boats anchored. Certainly one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my life. Not to mention the bustle of restaurants on the edge, little shops to buy souvenirs.

  • We were there out of season and found it super cozy, the small streets, the cosy restaurants. Do well to also visit the streets higher up in the old town (where no shops are). The city is touristy but still remained very authentic
