  • Well maintained and always worth a visit with changing exhibitions. Ideal as a stopover on the way to Halki or Ormos Agiassos.

  • Many travellers come to the Bazeos Tower and when they have it, do not understand that they are seeing. They have artistic and historical sensitivity on the genitals. Only the ignorant value it badly because they arrive and find it closed. The Bazeos Tower is a former belonging to the family as Baseggio castro. It is a typical example of fortaleza-vivienda where residian the servers Knights of Marco Sanudo. For centuries it was inhabited (until the last century) and they spent part of the enclosure for the manufacture of pottery. It functioned also as monastery. For years it was closed and deteriorating and finally a cultural Foundation bought it and restored it. You can visit all of the dependencies. The Bazeos Tower is home to an annual arts festival. In her recitals of poetry, etc. are scheduled each year from June to September exhibition of visual art, painting, sculpture, music concerts, It is a very interesting option if you're having a stay in Naxos. The cultural offer is wide. Only fools can not enjoy it and speak evil.

  • Bazeos Tower is one of the few surviving towers, you can also visit. That you should not miss. The tower was used earlier as a monastery. Now exhibitions take place here (admission €4). The rooms and also the views are worth a visit.

  • The tower itself is worth a visit. Think of the purpose why it was built! And the cultural concept of inviting artists from abroad and display their works in the many rooms of the tower is another very good reason for a visit
  • Old building with historical architecture. Had to pay to visit because of an artist exhibition.
  • Amazing cultural space. Great atmosphere.
