  • The Archaeological Museum is located inside the Castle. Would have loved to visit as there are many artifacts of the early cycladic period, within them and the famous statuettes which pique interest me. The exhibits included vases, columns, statues, statuettes, various tools and objects of everyday life, sections of wall paintings and a huge mosaic, finds dating from the Paleolithic age up to the 3rd century a.d. next to some items there are brief descriptions and existed in space 2 tour guides but was much the world to serve him and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to know what I wanted for all these wonderful objects. The area in General could have been more beautiful for the exhibition and preservation of such treasures. Khalid!

Where to stay in Naxos

As with most island destinations, rooms in Naxos tend to cost more the closer you get to the sea. Beach hotels and seaside apartments come at a steep price, but they offer spacious rooms and modern amenities just minutes from the island's finest beaches. Stay in Naxos Town for quick access to the best shopping and dining options, or choose one of the island's smaller settlements if you prefer a quieter base. Village inns provide simply furnished rooms and no frills, but they also charge less than the resort hotels.
