Nauplion Promenade, Nafplio
(4.6/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Follow Nauplion Promenade along the coastline for some for the best views of Nafplio, as well as the Arcadia mountains, Bourtzi fortress, Arvanitia beach, and Palamidi castle. The promenade stretches 1.1 km (0.7) along the along the water from the harbor to Arvanitia Square, directly above the beach of the same name. At one point, marked by a lamppost, the promenade seems to lead straight into the water. Farther along, continue your walk by passing through a tunnel dug straight out of the rock. Several spots along the promenade offer steps down to the sea. Or walk along it until it ends, and take a dip at Arvanitia Beach. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Nauplion Promenade and many more Nafplio attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Nafplio vacation generator.

  • I think it's the best ride you can make someone in Nafplion and sit to drink the coffee. The views of bourtzi is unique but the sea in front of you.

  • Beautiful city to the flowery lanes. Its bars, restaurants, shops, local cafes, its atypical houses, fortress, etc... The magic of the Greece! I highly recommend!

  • Beautiful walk that starts from the waterfront and along the promomtorio, coming out on the other side of town. The walk along the sea with many small beaches and prickly pear trees.
