Little Venice, Mykonos Town

(4.3/5 based on 4,000+ reviews on the web)
Watch the sunset from a Mykonos beach, go for a stroll among the shops, restaurants, and bars, and observe the mix of culture and architecture at Little Venice. The name of this attraction comes from the quaint, whitewashed houses that stand just upon the shoreline, resembling Venice itself. Visit the houses, now turned into clubs and bars, restaurants serving Greek cuisine, and stores with a wide range of merchandise. Take a camera with you an capture your own picture of one of the most photographed places in Europe. Wear sturdy walking shoes, as the paths by the sea can get slippery. By using our Mykonos Town vacation route planner, you can arrange your visit to Little Venice and other attractions in Mykonos Town.

  • Super cute place the day for a drink or a coffee, the price is reasonable and the evening a romantic atmosphere that puts in place, but watch out for the tourist. Don't put you in the red because you have a lot of things right next door and you are going to eat very well.

  • A must for anyone visiting Mykonos, nice to see a picturesque area depicting the great Venice hence the name of the area "Little Venice" most former fishermen houses turned into shops and bars with classic window facing the sea. A nice place to see and take some pictures,

  • This an awesome area in Mykonos town. Literally right on the waters edge, it is filled with bars and cafes predominantly. If the wind is up prepare to get a little bit wet if you're standing on the lower deck area, the waves crash right up to and over the barrier. The atmosphere here is relaxed yet energised. This is a really buzzing little spot. Chill out or party till dawn, you'll find it all here
  • What a great little spot. Worth paying for a cocktail at one of the bars here. Great view of the ocean/windmills.
  • Great place to have a drink my sunset
  • Another fantastic place in Mykonos with a history behind it :) You can have a spectacular view of Little Venice while standing on the hill with the Windmills.
  • Not as iconic as the windmills but personally I liked this scenery more: old houses right up to the water, waves breaking ... Too bad for the overpriced bars.
