  • Very impressive. Beautiful people. Loved Chloe and George. One of the must see in Mykonos. The business has been there for 500 years.  more »

  • Gioras is a Mykonos must do - a unique slice of history hidden under the busy streetscape. Stepping down the uneven steps is like heading into a little window into the past, and you can't help but feel like despite the modern display cabinets and the till in the corner, the bakery itself hasn't changed that much in the last few hundred years. Gioras and his wife are warm and friendly, and will happily have a chat with you about the bakery and show you the ovens. But the real treat is the baked goods - they are truly fantastic - the kind of thing I will remember in moments of hunger. You won't regret coming here, even if it is just to have a look and enjoy the smell of the bread. Their coffee is pretty good, too! Keep your eyes peeled as the bakery is below ground and not obviously signed.
  • Delicious baked goods. My favorite were the cream cones. Friendly staff and unique environment.
  • Cute, authentic old bakery. A bit scruffy inside but that is part of its charm. Tasty pastries.
  • The best almond cookies and baklava I've ever eaten!
  • Truly amazing bakery, highlight of the trip to Mykonos. The baklava and honey balls are excellent and the owner is extremely nice and welcoming. I would gladly eat nothing but the pastries from here for my entire trip.
