  • I visited the winery at the beginning of January, the tour starts in a space with exhibits (Honorary decorations, photos, books) of Evangelou Averoff and a erence in Zoi and his work and how he started the winery. In follow-up to swim in the cellar a great landscaped area with assistance eikastikes and beautiful aesthetics, where down the oak barrels that palaiwnei the wine as well as some of the first bottles of "Katogi Averoff" which fylassontai in space. Worth simeiwtheiwthei that the winery work 365 days of the year and the tour is free. Natural you can purchase wine.

  • The weekend that passed us, we visited the Katogi Averof (2 couples ilikias 22-27) and xetrelathikame! The experience of having access to the largest Winery in Greece was fantastic! Our guide was very inviting, so was interested to discover both the history of wine in General and the winery of metsovo in particular. Xenagithikame around the cellar and not tired now! At the end of the tour we were given the opportunity to buy some of the most delicious wines of Greece and to learn in detail the manner of preservation. Our advice? If you visit the Metsovo, don't miss the specific tour! And! Not do wrong to get the car to go there! Use your feet for 10 minutes and enjoy the white or green route!
